You’re asking yourself why do I need to learn Pet First Aid?
Simply to ensure you’re prepared to take immediate action in case of an emergency with your dog or cat.
I’ve been a firefighter for 14 + years and handled my fair share of emergencies, even with my training and experience I felt unskilled when it came to treating and assisting my boys’ Mack & Spencer. So I decided to get certified in Pet First Aid. Honestly it was one of the best things I could have done for my boys’. I loved the course so much I became an instructor. With 6+ years of teaching under my belt I’ve had the opportunity to train hundreds of pet guardians to feel more confident to react and empower them with awareness of signs and symptoms of trouble all in the name of keeping their pets safe. I’ve listened to countless inspiring stories of people who took brave action to help their fury four legged friends who needed help fast. These learning experiences are all about increasing the “happily ever after” for the four legged family members.

There are many course offerings out there to learn this invaluable skill but I personally recommend the programming from Walks 'N' Wags. It's the curriculum I use to teach. It's the most comprehensive of its kind and is distinctive in that it educates both cat and dog owners.
